JAZAN

Jazan is the second smallest region in Saudi Arabian after Al Baha. It stretch- es 300km along the Red Sea coast, while the Farasan Islands, an archipela- go in the Red Sea, is just an hour away by boat. The Farasan Island- Saudi Arabia’s first conservation area – is a must visit for nature- lovers, and there’s the Sarawat Mountain Range and Alhazoun Forest on the list to explore. The region – one of the hottest areas in the country – is also known for growing coffee beans, barley, wheat, apples, bananas, grapes, mangos, plums and papayas.
